AEFE Schools Solar Systems (2023 – ongoing)
This project stands as a landmark initiative by GCE, in collaboration with Euromena Consulting and IECD, aiming to integrate solar energy solutions across 57 affiliated French schools in Lebanon. This extensive undertaking is designed to provide a sustainable power source, significantly reducing electricity costs and lowering the carbon footprint of these institutions.
Project Scope
Installation of solar photovoltaic (PV) systems tailored to meet the energy needs of each school, ensuring optimal efficiency and reliability.
Impact
Anticipated to reduce annual CO2 emissions substantially, this project exemplifies our efforts in contributing to environmental preservation and promoting the use of clean energy in the educational sector.
Solar PV Systems in 113 Public Schools (2020-2021)
GCE played a crucial role as a sub-consultant in this pioneering project. It aimed at harnessing solar power to energize 113 public schools, marking a significant stride towards energy sustainability in Lebanon’s public education system.
Project Scope
Each solar PV system was meticulously designed and installed to cater to the specific energy requirements of the schools, enhancing energy independence.
